Back in 1981, with a welder and an old pick-up truck, Mark’s Custom Stoves was founded. In those early days, that pick-up was the worktable, the paint booth, and the delivery truck. Each stove was its own masterpiece, with hand-cut parts and ornate hand-crafted door frames. Today, we use industry-leading CAD design, computer-controlled cutting and bending, and high-quality cast-iron door frames. We still use the highest quality USA made materials and weld stoves and inserts together with one skilled craftsman, start to finish, just like the early days.

Need Morso Logo and The quintessential wood-burning stove has always been crafted from cast iron, and it’s still the best material for a stove today. Cast-iron stoves are timeless. Traditional. Efficient. Cozy. Morsø cast-iron stoves don’t twist or skew when it heats up. We don’t weld our stoves, instead binding them with ceramic string and bolt them together with screws, so your stove will always have a perfect seal. The cast iron we use at Morsø is almost twice as thick as the sheet iron some stoves are made from, retaining heat for longer. We give you a 10-year guarantee against casting and other production faults according to our warranty conditions.
